AI chatbots, assistants and tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini are often used in business and appear harmless. From a security standpoint there is a risk involved here as data shared with these tools is collected and used for AI future learning. This means secure data is stored outside of the business and vulnerable to data breaches. The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) has requested Government agencies block the use of unsecured AI products. To mitigate risk private businesses are now doing the same.
