Family owned, Leeuwin Estate, one of the five founding wineries of the now famous Margaret River district of Western Australia, is under the direction of two generations who work with a team of highly skilled winemakers to consistently produce wines ranking alongside the world’s finest.

Project Summary

With no internal IT resources and a heavier investment in technology, the decision was made to outsource IT to a trusted partner.  We partnered with Focus Networks who implemented their private cloud in a very short amount of time.  Security was at the forefront of their solution.

The Strategy

Dedicated tools were used to transfer our virtual servers into the Focus Networks private cloud. A scheduled outage after hours minimised disruptions to our normal business operations. Included in the transfer were 3rd party owned services and software licenses. Three key tasks were completed:

• Virtual server audit
• User acceptance testing
• After hours cutover

Proven Results

The private cloud solution is highly available. It is supported by suitably qualified Focus Networks staff. Performance of this solution delivers an exceptional experience for our staff whether they be in the office or in the field.
