Testing and Validating Backups – June 24

Most are concerned with the end of financial year, but have you ever worried as to whether your backups are tested? Throughout the year Focus Networks undertakes restore scenarios to test data backed up as part of our Managed Recovery Service. We test to ensure data integrity, compliance requirements and recovery capabilities. The test results are signed off by the client and used as evidence as part of internal or external audits. This generates peace of mind that in the event of a disaster, backed up data can be restored successfully in a timely manner.
